Pros

The company is by far among THE BEST when it comes to employee satisfaction. They value their employees and go as far as to treat them to free products on a regular basis, guaranteed annual reviews which allow potential for wage increase based upon one's performance along with a high tendency to promote within the company. This is a company that you enjoy showing up for work because they know happy employees make happy customer experiences. Bath and Body Works is part of the Limited Brands company, which frequently receives awards and acknowledgement for both national and international excellence among sales, customer service, diversity, and their willingness to give back to local communities.

Cons

The scheduling is a bit unnerving. Shorter shifts than your average employer (averaging between 3-5 hours a day) and the company also schedules "call-in" shifts which limit the ability to plan ahead for personal life on days which an individual is scheduled for a "call-in" shift. Their products are ever changing, so employees are expected to learn both current and "retired" scents to ensure customer satisfaction and the ability to suggest similar fragrances which are current in the store. Learning hundreds of fragrances and their basic compositions gets tedious, but eases with more experience.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
