Pros
Flexible remote work environment that gives employees autonomy.
Cons
The company has struggled with consistency in leadership and alignment with its stated values. There was a significant layoff in the Barcelona office (over 40 employees) shortly after Giving Tuesday and just before the Christmas and Homecoming period, which was difficult for many team members. Frequent leadership changes, including multiple CEO transitions within a short period of time, created uncertainty and contributed to a sense of instability across the organization. The timing and handling of the layoffs raised concerns about how employee well-being and mental health are prioritized. Given that the company positions itself as mission-driven and focused on social impact, there appears to be a disconnect between its external messaging and the internal employee experience. I hope the organization takes steps to create more stability and alignment between its values and its actions moving forward.
