Pros
The other Tangent employees were my favorite reason to come to work every day.
Cons
Grover Daniels. As a shift lead, I was allowed to see a lot of the behind the curtain stuff. I watched him make bad choice after bad choice for almost a year straight. Changing the attendance policy to be so strict good employees were caned because their car wouldn't start one day. Working with clients who have unrealistic demands and expectations of what we can do, promoting those expectations instead of correcting because it was a better check to the company. Wasting company resources on cameras (we already had a working security system, including working cameras) because he wanted to watch us. I kid you not, he once got angry because an agent was out of her seat for 10 minutes on her lunch break. His quote was "I forgot employees got to take breaks". He closed a phone center OVERNIGHT, letting 50+ full time employees go with no warning. Grover was unwilling to listen to his managers and leads, even when EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US advised against a course of action. Sitting in meetings, it was clear that he had no idea what this company was and is.
