Pros

- Other employees can be really fun to talk to and for the most part everyone gets along well. - Free lunch on Saturdays - Great health plan benefits! $140 per month for full coverage.

Cons

- Rules for BDC vary from dealership to dealership, you can get put into a place where you can major money easily and another place where they seem to want to not pay you at all. - Be prepared to work 50-60hrs a week. - Payplan is the worst, the people who get paid the most in the auto group for BDC have a lot of under the table deals going on, Pay is $1200 per month + commission. You will only get commission if you sell 20 cars or more. - They pay you off of sales not appointments but will put tons of pressure if you don’t make appointments. Also no solid rule for credibility for sales, it’s up the manager and they can decide to not give you the deal. - Usually never move people up in BDC and hire from outside.
