If you are working for Best Buy or considering it in the future, I strongly recommend you think twice! Discrimination and Favoritism are top 2 competencies that senior managers demonstrate. If you want to get promoted, no matter what you do and how hard you work, unless you have connections forget about it! I have worked for several Fortune 500 companies, but believe me, after just few months working for Best Buy I discovered that I have made the biggest mistake of my career life. Their employee satisfaction survey is a joke. They will find the reason to get rid of people who scored the store low to increase the rating for the future instead of fixing the problem. Or they just terminate the GM to blame some one vs. fixing the culture.
