Pros

Great discount on proprietary Best Buy products, Insignia, Rocketfish, etc. etc. Fairly relaxed group of coworkers and supervisors.

Cons

No faith in inventory system, lackluster training, not commission but sales are tracked and you're still pressured to meet a quota, somehow. Lackluster equipment supply, namely price scan guns, only 2 in whole store with only one spare battery. No respect for requests off, at all. Closing means you stay until the store is closed, not until you are scheduled, so if you say you can work until 10, and the store closes at 9:30, especially during the holidays, expect to be there until midnight. Serious disconnect between lower management and staff, very clique-y in that regard.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
