Pros
Working for Beta Theta Pi fresh out of college gave me the professional knowledge, experience, and tools I needed for my next career opportunities. The staff culture built around Beta is positive, feedback driven, values focused, and filled will experts in the higher ed/fraternal industry. The diverse responsibilities of a Leadership Consultant translate well to most business including recruiting, management, project development, and maintaining relationships.
Cons
Although traveling is a benefit of the job, the amount of traveling (and sometimes the constituents) is daunting and can sometimes negatively impact your attitude towards the work. This work requires autonomy and belief in developing young, fraternal men. If that doesn't appeal to you, then expect to burn out within the year.
