Pros
There aren't any "Pros" to working at Beurer North America.
Cons
Toxic work environment: Surface-level politeness masks constant gossip and backstabbing. Trust across teams is minimal.
Leadership sets a poor tone: Although a hybrid policy exists, it’s treated as a privilege that can be revoked based on subjective bias.
Anti-remote culture: There’s a deep-seated belief that remote employees aren’t truly working, leading to micromanagement and passive-aggressive behavior.
No respect for personal time: Taking a lunch away from your desk draws judgment. Doctor’s appointments and pre-planned vacations are treated as signs of disloyalty.
Vacation shaming: Even with proper preparation, you're told you should’ve attended meetings while away and that your team isn’t good enough without you.
Unprofessional conduct: Senior team members make inappropriate remarks without consequence. Offensive behavior is tolerated, not addressed.
Lack of direct communication: Feedback is rarely offered transparently. Instead, people discuss others’ performance and job security behind closed doors.
Micromanagement via messaging: Failure to respond quickly is met with snide, impatient follow-ups regardless of context.
No psychological safety: The company lacks transparency, collaboration, and accountability—especially at the leadership level.
Demoralizing culture: Despite a few perks, the workplace harms morale and well-being. Leaving was a relief, even without another job lined up.
