Lots of opportunities to develop new skills in a fun environment. Colleagues were friendly and supportive and shared lots of expertise.
The relatively small organisation was a nice change from working for a massive corporation and meant making an impact as an individual was possible.
The work was interesting, and I felt like I had developed a lot by the time I left.
Cons

Out of hours work was occasionally frustrating, though I understand that has now been alleviated.
