Pros
Honestly the only pro here is that it pays.. I can’t even say that it pays well for the amount of work that my team takes on. I do work from home so I’m grateful.
Cons
There are so many to list with this company. If you’re a problem solver and love working on your own while trying to piece together inadequate and often inaccurate information then this is the job for you. My company was bought out and Elevance/BP took over and it has not been for the better at all. This job is so extremely difficult because the pca departments expectations are that you do your job and everyone else’s. You’re calling insurances, doctors offices, copay card companies.. I hope you’ve been trained in deescalating situations, because managers and supervisors will flat out give you attitude or refuse to take phone calls. The pay is very lackluster for the amount of work that we do. Less than 20 an hour..
