Toxic environment overshadows great product and pay - Employee Bird Buddy Employee Review

I had a wonderful experience working at Bird Buddy for the past two years. The company is filled with genuinely kind, talented, and supportive people who truly care about both the product and each other. One of the things I appreciated most was how communicative and transparent leadership is — the weekly all-hands meetings with the CEO helped everyone stay informed, aligned, and connected to the company’s vision and growth. Management was always approachable and supportive, and HR consistently went above and beyond to help employees feel heard and supported. The company is constantly evolving in exciting ways, which created a fast-paced and innovative environment where there was always an opportunity to learn and grow. Bird Buddy also offers excellent benefits and does a great job prioritizing employee well-being. Like many fully remote companies, it can sometimes be challenging to feel fully integrated or connected day-to-day. However, Bird Buddy does a really great job creating opportunities for employees across the globe to connect virtually and collaborate as a team.

- founders completely imploded and split up and the effects rain down upon the true contributors - CEO went from inspiring, a believer and someone we all trusted to someone lifeless and willing to do anything to profit (including firing many people due to personal differences, not performance) - all new ideas and goals were replaced with bogus corporate-style goals and false positivity - culture went from great and vibrant to fearful and quiet - they want talent but aren’t willing to pay for it - communication became absolutely awful - micromanaging by founders
