Pros

If you want to experience firsthand how little a company can value its employees while pretending it’s a “great place to work,” this is the place. You’ll walk away with the ability to spot fake leadership, performative company culture, and every red flag in the book before your next job search.

Cons

Working at BizIQ is like being trapped in a slow-motion collapse where every day feels heavier than the last, and leadership watches with crossed arms and mandatory cult like chants during company wide meetings to “improve morale”. This isn’t a company. It’s a cautionary tale. BizIQ is a masterclass in corporate rot. This place is a toxic, chaotic disaster from top to bottom, run by a leadership team completely divorced from reality and totally indifferent to the well-being of its employees. There’s no recognition, no upward mobility, no strategy—just a spinning carousel of blame, confusion, and burnout. You are expected to carry the weight of five roles with no real tools, training, or support. If you ask for help, you’re seen as weak. If you speak up, you’re ignored or punished. If you succeed, you’re punished with even more work. The Customer Success department is the prime example of how not to run a company. Executive Leadership changes direction every other week with zero strategy or logic. You’re expected to “figure it out” without training, support, or even acknowledgment. There is no career development, no recognition, and no growth—just more work, more pressure, and the same bottom-barrel pay while they dangle the (now moldy) carrot in front of your face. The bonus system? There isn’t one—not really. The old structure was useless and broken. The “new” system was pitched as a revolution but is a smokescreen to avoid paying anyone anything. Performance targets are deliberately vague, constantly shifting, and so unrealistic it feels like a sick joke. It’s a rigged game, and you’re set up to lose. New KPIs are a complete joke—totally unachievable, disconnected from real performance, and used as a tool to deny you the very bonuses they dangle in front of you. The system is rigged, plain and simple. Cross-departmental communication is a nightmare. You’ll beg for basic collaboration only to be stonewalled, ghosted, or blamed. Every project requires baby-sitting other teams, spoon-feeding details, and cleaning up chaos that isn’t yours—because no one is actually accountable for anything here except you Leadership is obsessed with pretending we’re an “all-in-one solution” for digital marketing, even though our tools are outdated, our processes are broken, and the products don’t meet actual client needs. That reckless expansion strategy has only tanked morale, driven away talent, and piled more work onto already maxed-out teams. Internally, it feels like a simulation designed to test how long you can go without breaking. You’ll train new hires who leave within months. You’ll watch smart, talented coworkers wither into apathy. And you’ll wonder when you stopped caring too. Externally, the company spews out flashy branding and hollow claims about being “industry-leading,” but it’s all performance art. What’s really happening is declining sales, failing products, collapsing morale, and management blaming the workers instead of fixing their own incompetence. Leadership still markets BizIQ as “industry-leading” while everything behind the scenes is held together by duct tape and denial. They sell a lie to the public, to clients, and most offensively, to the people doing the actual work. The culture is suffocating. Employee voices are ignored, ideas are shut down, and morale is in free fall. The few good people left are either burning out or looking for the exit. And why wouldn’t they? You’re expected to deliver more with less, and any reward for going above and beyond is either fake, delayed, or quietly canceled. And the CEO flies above it all—literally and figuratively—on a private jet, untouched by the devastation below

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We genuinely value honest feedback from current and former employees — it’s what helps us grow. While this review is difficult to read it’s misguided in many areas. We’d like to address a few important points: --Our CEO sits on his Private Jet: Our CEO does not have a private jet so unfortunately this part of the review is not true. --There is No Employee Recognition: Recognition is a core part of our culture. We celebrate employees daily during our All Hands calls, quarterly in Town Halls, and annually through the BizIQ Shredder Awards. Our BizBucks program allows peers and leaders to acknowledge great work in real time. --There are no Career Growth and Promotion opportunities: We are proud of the several internal promotions that have taken place in 2025 so far, which reflect our commitment to promoting from within and investing in employee development. We recognize that we can always do more to communicate career pathways clearly and consistently across teams. --Innovation and Process Improvement: As a company operating in a fast-paced digital marketing environment, we do update processes often to stay ahead. We know this can be challenging, and we’re working to ensure change is implemented with greater clarity, communication, and support. We can confidently say that through change does come training and development. A recent example is our transition from our Account Manager model to Growth Advisor model. We’re equipping our Growth Advisors to create marketing strategies that align with our customer’s goals and objectives. This prompted a series of team trainings led by our VP of Customer Success. --Leadership and Accountability: We take concerns about communication and cross-functional collaboration seriously. Leadership is actively working to improve transparency and connection at every level of the company. It’s clear from this review that more effort may be needed in addition to our current initiatives and or Monthly Cross Departmental Leadership call. --Employee Voices are Ignored: As a company, we solicit feedback from our employees quarterly in our pulse survey. We evaluate this anonymous feedback weekly and escalate to Sr. Leadership when appropriate. In Q2, we launched a series of additional surveys (based on recent pulse survey feedback) asking employees in each division for more detailed feedback and specific suggestions. We value our employees feedback BizIQ is a place where people feel seen, supported, and empowered. We understand that you are a current employee and feel strongly about voicing your feedback to influence change, we’d welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience and ensure your feedback leads to meaningful change. Please reach out to Shay Hoosier in HR to schedule a call. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We wish you continued success in your career at BizIQ. Shay Hoosier VP, Human Resources

Pros

As a Recruitment Manager, one of the things I've appreciated most is how much this company invests in its people. There's a real focus on ongoing development, leadership growth and giving employees opportunities to develop. The culture is another standout. Leadership genuinely wants to hear employees' ideas and feedback, which creates an open and collaborative environment. It's also a fun place to work, with great people and a positive atmosphere. Being part of a progressive, fast-paced industry keeps the work interesting.

Cons

BizIQ can be a fast-paced and busy environment with a strong focus on adapting to new things. It’s a very growth-oriented workplace, which is definitely a positive. But if you prefer a role where things stay the same and ongoing learning feels more like “homework,” this may not be the right fit.

Pros

Total buy-in by ownership and management for the inspiration, growth, innovation, and unique systems necessary to provide the best possible customer service and SEO that small and medium-sized businesses need to succeed in both Google and AI in today's digital marketing landscape. In my 5 months at BizIQ, and through having personal interactions with management and employees in every department, I have yet to meet anyone I wouldn't want to work alongside. That is rare! Everyone is at the top of their game and an absolute pleasure to work with. From HR, sales teams, training, CS, and account managers to SEO and Content specialists, strategists, and managers, everyone is very supportive, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. Throughout all my years of employment, I had yet to find an HR department that I truly felt had everyone's back and was a pleasure to interact with instead of a chore...until I landed at BIzIQ. What a difference a great HR team can make! I am thrilled with the proactive and forward-thinking culture that BizIQ supports, and I would highly recommend that anyone who is searching for a rewarding position at an SEO company that excels at performing their best work possible for clients and supports its employees equally as well, give BizIQ a good look.

Cons

Quite a few meetings for management level, but very fixable
