Pros

To be employed, less responsibility than we previously had, a lot of structure, 20 paid days off to start, holidays off and allowed to be remote.

Cons

I used to work for a company that was bought by Blackbaud. In the original company I managed clients. I felt valued by them, the team of Account Managers valued me and my immediate bosses seemed to care a lot about me. Since the purchase, I have been assigned to Managers that don’t care about the individual, they are super fake (showing an interest in the new team that they have known prior to the purchase but never interacted with! They communicate all these positive comments like we are kids in the internal communicator for other to see but it comes off so fake), they are micro managers, turned all of good things about the job into a call center environment, everyone is miserable, the goal is to answer calls instead of client satisfaction and the new job feel so minor compared to before. No one wants to go from managing clients to working in a very strict call center. This isn’t the job I signed up to do. We don’t even have a holiday party anymore. So many violations, such as being told that you can go to the bathroom as you need to because you have to wait for a specific time. They even have us creating a knowledge base that tells our replacements how to do our super simplified jobs. Current employees are looking for new jobs desperately to get out of this environment.
