Blade-Tech Industries

Is this your company?

Not a place to grow, and i'd even think long and hard about visiting. - Anonymous employee Blade-Tech Industries Employee Review

Pros

You may work with some pretty cool people, until they get fired. To be honest, i cannot think of a single pro about this company. New management is on a power trip, and it's very hard to respect those who do not show it in the first place. sometimes you get to work on projects that you find interesting, but more than likely it will be the same stuff day in and day out.

Cons

New ownership resulted in the removal of over 70 years of experience within the company, and the installation of his 20 something year old son with zero experience as the new COO. If you weren't directly hired by this new COO, consider yourself on the list of people to be fired. Culture drastically changed with this new arrival. Micro managing of all aspects of the job were instilled. Be careful you don't mess up, as your first warning will most likely be you getting fired as well. Inappropriate relationships across management resulting in blatant favoritism. i don't believe you should be starting a family with the first person you hired once you were brought on, and then allowing them to take consecutive weeks off without consequence. This is not a good business practice. keep your ideas to yourself, as upper management will love to use them as their own. Little to no upward mobility. Even if there were, you wouldnt stay long enough to find out. The new COO has had more official titles in the last 2 years, than just about every other employee during the lifespan of this company. Seems as the only upward movement is achieved by this one person. The CEO seems to be in the back pocket of the COO, allowing the rampant restructure of the company with zero pushback. Not a single benefit is provided. basically just working for a paycheck, and for someone to chew you out if you slip up.

Pros

This company rewards you for the work you do and gets rid of the employees that don't contribute to the company and take advantage and this is why I love working for Blade-Tech. If you see a negative review it's most likely someone who was fired because they were trying to take advantage of the company and not a team player. If you show up and work as a team player you will see raises and bonuses. If you go above and beyond you will be recognized and promoted. They care about there employees and frequently treat the company to lunches!

Cons

Honestly it's hard to find any other than sometimes bad employees take advantage but thankfully they eventually get weeded out.

Pros

I would be hard pressed to think of anything that is positive about the company. They have ran off all of the good people and managed to ruin a company that had a great culture in the past. They offer no benefits, the pay isn't any different than you can get elsewhere, and morale at the company is terrible and seems to get worse by every passing day.

Cons

The company is run by a father and son that don't have a clue what they are doing. Don't believe for a second that the old owners have any say any longer in the company and also don't buy that they are a Christian company. They are the furthest thing from it. They also are not a fast growing company. They continue to get dropped by key customers and sales have been on the decline for a number of years now. They are also moving out of the state, so don't expect to have a job for long if you do think about Blade-Tech. Pretty much every other option for a job other than Blade-Tech should be your choice. Also, don't buy the one positive review that people are rewarded. That is completely false.
