Pros
Blue offers a positive work environment. I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues and learn from their expertise. The company fosters a culture of teamwork and provides a good balance between work and personal life.
Cons
Office could be in a better location. Not bad though.
Pros
They have really good benefits.
Cons
There is minimal (if any) top-down communication. 2017 was a rough year for the media industry and it was very apparent to everyone--yet there was almost no talk of it from upper management. We watched as many of the executives were laid off or "unexpectedly" quit with only a surface level explanation coming from HR and other executives. This left low moral, circulating rumors and speculation, and led a lot of people to quit. And yet they wonder why the industry is floundering. Aside from the agency as a whole, my personal experience has been mediocre. There is a lot of unnecessary drama between employees that make the place feel like high school at times--it's also surprising that no one from upper management has tried to address this issue as it's quite pervasive. Also, to the HR team member that will respond to this review saying, "We're sorry about your experience," are you actually? Because I had only ever spoken to one person on the HR team prior to being told that my salary was being cut--and then was confronted by HR's "culture cultivator" (who had never spoken a word to me, or introduced themselves--yet is responsible for company culture...?) and was told to basically suck it up. There have been many moments where I know I want to quit but have refrained to ensure the well being of my team. I'm sticking it out for them--not for the company.
