Pros

Everyone is very supportive, the work is challenging and meaningful, and the benefits and are very generous.

Cons

The training for the role and expectations that are laid out are very different from what the actual experience is. It’s an uphill work in progress.

Pros

Interesting projects, variety of problems to solve, projects change at a reasonable pace. Company sets you up to succeed with a strong support system and still gets you onto projects quickly. Company is growing rapidly so there is lots of room for growth career-wise if you put in the work. But also quite a few qualified candidates. Very transparent management & culture. Very inclusive and energetic workplace culture! Competitive pay, but insurance + PTO benefits are some of the best out there (at least in the USA). Big on work-life balance, with opportunities for workplace fun and some key team events/gatherings.

Cons

Opportunities are what you make of them, those not willing to work hard will not thrive. The company wants people who can work independently and ask for help when needed, so a self-starter mentality is important. Being too quiet or introverted may limit your opportunities to move up the ladder, as being recognized is important. That being said, it's a common theme across all of consulting.
