Pros

None, nothing is good. Dont come

Cons

Working at Bluedale was a very unpleasant experience. There is absolutely no work-life balance. Although working hours officially end at 6pm, staff are not allowed to leave on time. If you try to leave at 6, you’re often called back and questioned — “Why didn’t you finish your work before leaving?” — even when the workload is clearly impossible to complete within regular hours. No overtime pay is given, not even a cent, despite staff regularly being expected to stay back late. On your last day, you’ll likely be kept until 10–11pm just to “complete everything yourself” rather than being allowed to hand it over, with the excuse that “you handled this project so you must finish it.” The working culture is toxic. The boss is rude and unprofessional, often calling staff “stupid” in front of others. One of the assistant managers also talks down to colleagues, creating a very demoralizing environment. Even after resigning, they continue to call you multiple times as if you’re still responsible for the job. There’s no annual bonus either. The only “reward” we received was a voucher to visit an animal farm, which honestly felt like a joke rather than an appreciation. Overall, it was an exhausting and unhealthy work experience. I would never recommend anyone to work here.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is that a lot of the staff, as in the regular employees, not management, are kind and willing to help

Cons

- You need to chase them for your pay slip - Even though work hours are supposed to be 9-6, you will end up needing to stay late. More often than not, it's because management insists on going through your daily work even though it is all already typed up and sent to them in the daily task list. You will finish before 6, but most of the time, you will leave late because they will only check your work either close to or after 6. Those who 'dare' to leave within 15 minutes of 6 are called lazy, not to their face, but behind their back. It's probably why there have been multiple employees who just don't come back the next day. - They don't pay employees who have mc. They say probationary employees are not entitled to anything, so we need to take unpaid leave instead. Oddly enough, the labor board disagrees, and only after mentioning the labor board to management, will you get back pay for your mc. - The boss is rude to employees. He has called the employees lazy, stupid, etc, and has even used curse words. Employees can be going through something really difficult in their personal lives (like a death or illness), but he thinks work should come first and has cursed them out behind their back but so loudly that the whole office can hear. He will also badmouth your own colleague right to your face, calling them lazy, incompetent, etc. - They use your hard-earned salary as a means to control you, 'I pay your salary, so you listen to what I say'. They believe we have no rights as we are still on probation, and even tell us to ask the labor board if we are entitled to benefits. To them, they are very generous and give us a lot, which is completely false. They also use the fact that they have been around for a long time to justify their actions and mistreatment of employees. 'We have been around for so long, obviously, what we are doing is right.' You can hear the boss making many calls, calling people for interviews almost every day, it seems like what they are doing isn't as right as they think, or else people won't be leaving 'left, right and center.' - And make sure not to mention that you are good at something outside your job scope, because it will suddenly become part of your job scope later on. They tend to take advantage when they know you are good at something that is not part of your job scope. All in all, management does not treat employees with respect. But when you call them out on it, it's us who are lazy, don't know or want to work, not used to structure and discipline. However, when 2 or 3 people say one thing, and dozens of others are saying the opposite (coupled with the high turnover rate), it becomes clear who is telling the truth.
