Pros

It's a high traffic dealership so you can make good money based on how hardworking you are.

Cons

The long hours are cruel. They want to make every penny they can even at 11pm at night. The doors are always opened to everyone even at 8PM. Employees come in on their off days to deliver cars. Employees do everything and are held responsible for everything. They don't pay their LOT employees to help, so you end up doing all the work and getting blamed left and right. You have to be really hardcore to survive here. You won't have any social life. They make a lot of money but pay sales people so small. I think this is actually employer abuse, because how can you have people working 70 hours a week, 12 hours a day and you can't even pay them overtime for staying late? You get paid only when you sell a car! They don't want to pay lot attendant, so they force you to come in on your off day and clear the snow off the cars, still with no additional pay! It's a harsh working condition. The managers suck...no one will help you unless they see that the problem is about to get them a lawsuit or get to Ernie Jr. They are so unprofessional, and rude to employees. Nothing works in this company...no updated technology. This is the ugliest looking Honda dealership I've ever seen. Everything is designed to punish employees. Even on Saturdays and Sundays, you see people working 12 hours a day! They never make time for their family, just so they can keep their job and make money for Ernie Boch jr. Other dealerships closes their doors at 5pm, Boch is opened till 9pm. If you must work here, just keep another place in mind and just gain the experience here. It's horrible!

Pros

- I actually learned a lot about cars by being directly connected to the service department. - Actual tasks of the job such as: filing, customer care, printing receipts for deposits, ect are very easy to learn.

Cons

- In short: the sales department, and the lack of communication between sales and back end. - When closing cashiers have to stay until the last sale (often 1-2 hours past closing) and there’s nothing for us to do except waste our personal time we’re not scheduled, or predicted for. Yes, this is an agreement when working as a cashier, yet an unnecessary burden for someone that only has to type about 3 things into software, hit enter a few times, and done. The best part? The salesmen obviously run on commission. They get that extra $$ for the car. I get $15 pre tax bc they have a drive to sell that car worth more than my time. All while I go insane waiting for someone to bring me a deposit. Just staring at a wall for 30 minutes sitting in an office chair all alone isn’t worth $7.50. Sometimes rules or laws can be wrong. - Maybe 1/4 to half the sales people are intolerable as well. Acting incredibly impatient as if we’re their little dogs playing fetch with car keys and titles for them. Meanwhile clueless customers are waiting to pay for their service.
