Pros
Schedule was flexible, and once you gained enough basic server skills, you might be given the opportunity to learn how to cook, do prep work, or make drinks. You are also given one free meal per shift, and as many bubble tea drinks as you can drink while working responsibly. The tips during dinner rush, especially during winter, were nothing to scoff at as well. It was a good job to work at while being a student.
Cons
When there are no customers, it is quite boring. Even if everything has been done and cleaned, the manager always wants you to be doing something to "look busy". Additionally, if you made a mistake, the local managers were not the best at communicating and often were very verbally displeased, which made being a new trainee anxiety inducing.
