Pros

Discounts on Bose products, there are some good benefits available to employees. great co workers, that's what will be missed the most. That's about it.

Cons

Bose has shifted all manufacturing over seas, and since then, the quality of their products has gone way down. They are not innovating anything new, all their "new" products are 3 to 4 years behind the curve. Most of the stuff comes out buggy, and or with known defects. Anybody have a Solo system that doesn't power on? Just this week, Bose began laying off their global call center, technical support and sales reps are being let go in about 30 man groups every 2 weeks so as not to enact the WARN act. By doing this, Bose does not have to tell the town and state of the layoffs, and does not need to provide 2 weeks per year worked severance packages. They decided to ship all our jobs over seas to a call center in the Philippines, where they are paying each worker 70 dollars a week. That "great" Bose service you have come to expect when calling for help,... gone. Those guys over there have absolutely no idea what they are doing, they are clueless, the customers know more about the product then they do. Bose customers are now screwed. The people that are left in the U.S. call center that haven't been let go as of yet completely don't care anymore. There is absolutely no over site at the call center, nobody is doing anything. All the people that matter will be gone by 7/29/16. Bose doesn't care about it's workers, they don't care about their customers, and they no longer care about the core values and service this company was built on. I'm embarrassed at what they have become, all they care about is the almighty dollar.

Pros

Major transformation in progress. New Senior Leadership team making all the right moves. Transparent executive communications to employees. Shedding the old obsolete ways while keeping the Bose Essence

Cons

Lots of change all at once (but it is communicated - it is not a surprise)
