Pros
I worked out of a Factory Store inside a mall, which meant there was always someone to talk to or something to do. They worked well with my school hours as they adjusted which each semester. It was hourly based so you didn't have employees stabbing each other in the back for a sale.
Cons
Raises were a joke, I was consistently the top seller outside of management yet several times I got raises of 20-45 cents. Totally pointless. The scripts you had to memories for the "Show" were incredibly long and did not come out conversationally at all, however management always said you were supposed to sound conversational, but were not allowed to differ from the script...at all! They would drill you on these, and even eves drop right behind your demo, making it awkward for all involved.
