Pros

You can make your own schedule. You have to adhere to it rather strictly but you can come in a half hour early and leave a half hour early each day.

Cons

If anyone is considering working at BLS be warned that they reel you in and you think this is the best place to work. In training they sell you lies about how great this company is but after a few months you realize it is not what they made it out to be. The pay is average, management treats the employees like grade schoolers and most of management have no idea what the employees do on a day to day basis. They claim they are flexible but it really is not that flexible at all. Yes you get to make your own hours but that is about it. The raises are minimal and the opportunity for advancement is slim. You don't realize until you start that you have to sign something stating you won't work for one of their clients or a competitor. So then you are stuck! The benefits are awful as you have to pay for most of it and the 401k is matched up to $1k which is lame. I'm not sure who these people are who are voting BLS to be the top place to work in KY because the morale is low. Don't work at BLS unless you are desperate!

Pros

I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting a Bonus. I have awesome people on my team but miss my prior supervisor. People always help each other. New supervisor is good too, just keeps quiet. The work is good. It is fun to find money for hospitals. The technology is better than it was just a year ago. I can show up and do a really good job because it is improved. Company meetings are fun. Office and location is good and keeps me from having to go downtown. New dress code and attendance rules are really nice.

Cons

Until now, I would have listed limited chances to promote. But now, just crazy. Recent promotions are a joke. When the announcements went out, they were panned in my department. People that are average and unfriendly should not be in VP roles. I will not get into specifics but people across the organization are very unhappy about the moves. It is a sign that we are definitely headed the wrong way. CEO seems great but he must be out of touch. It will be hard to sell 3% to us this year after doing unearned promotions and huge pay.
