Pros

Great coworkers - I met some great people here. I also had some valuable insight into how a digital agency works. There is quite a lot of 'fluidity' so it COULD improve potentially.

Cons

There wasn't a whole lot I could say was great about this company. I got hired on making minimum wage, in California, at a digital marketing agency where their clients pay 100's of thousands for their questionable services? Really? I had to wait quite some time to get paid a measly $13 an hour. I stayed with the company long enough to supposedly part with some benefits, but I of course didn't actually ever see those either. Boss likes to use intimidation tactics, and managers are unexperienced. Mostly, the services and products are just not good so it's hard to stand behind the company.

Pros

- Client list include the largest retail and restaurant brands in America; great opportunity to build your resume with a lot of high profile clients. - Similarly, most staff email regularly with client-side teams so also a good source of diverse connections across corporate America. - W2GI provides a unique set of services that are very visible; can be interesting/satisfying to work on. - Small company and open office means good performance is very evident and recognized. - Senior leadership is personable and inspiring on a 1-on-1 basis - Decent facilities/kitchen with coffee and snacks, catered lunch every few weeks.

Cons

- Salary/benefits are OK for entry-level but static, i.e. negotiate upfront and don't expect a big raise each year. - ESOP provides little benefit because most employees do not stay long enough to start accumulating (2 years), or become fully vested (7 years). - High turnover: A lot of entry level employees are hired, poorly integrated, and then disappear after a few weeks. Also, the most competent employees tend to quit between 1-3 years. - A lot of clique-ish non-contributing employees with vague responsibilities. - Area surrounding office is semi-industrial and the lunch options are very limited/boring.
