Some there have strange personalities. Employees who advance into supervisory/management positions not always a good fit for those positions. Just because someone is good at their job doesn't mean that they can manage people well. Feedback (good or bad) is very lacking. They would rather ignore you then give feedback. Also, there appears to be a higher level than norm of burnout. That wasn't my case but I did notice it in others.
