Pros

I like having the freedom to do things my way. Having built our email marketing from scratch, I was supported and had the help of others as I learned the business. Managers give people space to work but step in if guidance is needed. Boundaries and flexible hours are respected. There’s also a good work-life balance–as long as you meet deadlines.

Cons

Leadership is very structured, which means adjusting to meet deadlines–even if you’re allowed to manage your own work flow.

Pros

● I was drawn to this job because of the company’s aesthetic ● I love that we constantly get feedback from clients and agencies on our design ● Leaders respect personal time–and also provide quick feedback ● Leaders understand that results take time–and are patient ● Coworkers are easy to collaborate with and have extensive knowledge about the industry ● Remote work is a bonus–as are flexible hours ● Clear communication and direct feedback

Cons

Leadership is very process driven. This means you have to follow their way of doing things–which takes getting used to.

Pros

The day to day tasks provided decent learning experience, and the general team members were nice to work alongside.

Cons

I found the work environment extremely unpleasant and stressful due to management's communication style and expectations. The CEO and co-founder seemed pleasant on the surface but he was often condescending and dismissive toward employees, which made for an uncomfortable workplace. In my experience, employees were expected to prioritize work over their personal lives, and work-life balance was not valued or respected. Additionally, some leadership across different levels had limited management experience, which at times led to inconsistent communication and decision-making, making collaboration more difficult. One thing I think job seekers should know is that I felt pressured to leave a positive Glassdoor review while I was employed. After my employment ended and I deleted that review, I was later contacted about it, which I found uncomfortable and inappropriate. I also did not receive my final compensation at the end of my employment. These experiences left me with serious concerns about the company's leadership and how employees are treated. Proceed with caution if you’re considering working here.
