      Get to work on good technology. Year-end bonus and stock grants are good if the company does well and if working in a profit-making division.

      Cons

      Company culture and work environment are not so great. No fringe benefits other than compensation. Management runs a lean organization.

      Soulless corporate structure and demands. Broadcom acquired the company I worked for and drastically increased prices immediately, alienating well over 50% of our customers.
