Pros
Lots of career and on the job training opportunities. Lots of different application areas that you can gain experience in. Experienced folk to willing to share ideas.
Cons
Slow in some aspects due to the large number of procedures in place. As it is a large company there are perhaps less chances to gain responisbility for work that is outside your job spec than at a smaller company.
