base salary isn't as competitive as other organizations, but they focus a lot on retention and long-term success (goals, coaching, development, etc) so you have to buy-in and commit yourself to building a career here and you can start making commission pretty much immediately. other companies will pay you more, but cut you sooner.
recruiting/ sales is a very challenging field in general, and it might not be the place to work if you just want to clock in and clock out and collect a check.
