Pros

Shares after two years if you can last that long, Uniforms free parking limited team member discounts

Cons

Promises they can't keep. Many promises made to you as co-ordinaters get out of by passing the buck to upper management. Bank of hours policy - you don't get paid any over time - it goes into a 'Bank of Hours' system - meaning you can take off time and get paid for it on their terms not yours- if your 'B.O.H' doesn't accidently get erased - very common. Team members have lost several thousands of dollars with this company sham. It will never change. It would work well if the company was honest in the pay department. Casuals and part-timers promised full time work after 3 months - All lies, always using the same excuses, the budget won't allow it or there are no positions currently available, yet constantly keep hiring new people. They will give you the worst hours if they want to get rid of you, because you stand up for yourself and not allow to get bullied. If you keep doing the hours month after month or get angry , you'll just end up leaving anyway. That's exactly what they want. They provide you with a job, hours, you can't do them, you leave - next please. Family friendly working hours or rosters are a lie or an absolute sham. If your co-ordinator likes you, you get the best hours. If not , you'll know by the way your roster is set up for you, constant early morning starts or 4+ days of late finishes..oh they will find a way to get rid of you. Those of us with children, need to pick up our kids at 3.00 pm daily, not have them get picked up by their friends parents to look after them until the parent can't come after 5.00 pm to pick them up especially when you have both parents working long hours to put food on the table and pay mortgages. Upper management bullying - they will always have a witness- but you, if you go to a meeting with them without a witness, you will be pressured to say things you did not intend to. They can be very mean and bring you to tears behind closed doors. The 'Have your say cards' they are there for customers to state whether they were happy or not with customer service or any other problems regarding that store. If there is a problem in store and the card got posted into one of their internal have your say boxes, it will get destroyed and never acted upon [less paperwork], so you the customer will never have your problem dealt with. The little badges you see on the team members aprons are awarded to them from these have your say cards, it's a customer service award for giving excellent advice or help. These cards often get destroyed by upper management and star team members never get their badges or printouts, this makes the team member sour and resent the company and find another job, just like i did.
