Pros
Superb facilities - gym, creche, canteen, tennis /basketabll courts, large grounds which are great to walk around and free buses to and from Slough station Salaries are relatively OK Generally friendly
Cons
Managers appointed for technical expertise but often not good at people management/unwilling to engage in it Favouritism in internal promotions - seems like certain people have the path to promotion laid out for them from day 1 Long hours culture due to poor organisation and an unwillingness by managers to push back on sales (around whom the whole company revolves) when deals are submitted late and after own internal deadlines which are not ahered to sometimes leading to unacceptably long shifts Culture of blame and finger pointing Uneven distribution of work within department due to conservative approach to training new staff meaning they progress too slowly They do employee opinion surveys every quarter then tell us off if they come back negative - as if they are entitled to a good result. Not the point !
