Pros
- Newer offices - Occasional gifts/ snacks - Large staff pool broadens opportunities for consultation - PTO on national holidays - Very nice billing team
Cons
- Quota/ billable minimum is INSANE. 28 client hours a week base and you have to schedule 34 to fulfill it. As a result, 0 time to connect with coworkers and everyone is constantly burnt out. - Terrible pay. I averaged $12.50/ hour my first 6 months working there as a masters-level clinician. - Have to use your PTO if you are short on quota. - Often will put clients on your calendar outside of your comfort zone/ scope of practice. If you push back, they'll often make you feel pressured and/ or question your work ethic - Rapidly growing at the expense of clinicians - spending money on new locations rather than paying clinicians better. - Gaslightly environment where upper management says they care ("CARE") but often rejects feedback or gives caveats/ doubles-down when employees attempt to set boundaries. - Poor quality and impersonal supervision. Supervisors do not advocate for you if you bring up concerns about the company or honor your work-life balance. (Also, supervisors rarely make exceptions for not charging clients for missing a session due to life emergencies.) Overall got the impression that I was expendable as a clinician and an employee working here. Very polished from the outside, but this place has a lightning-fast turnover rate for multiple reasons. Don’t make the same mistake I did, find someplace else!
