Pros

CDW has started to test the waters around work/life balance, launching pilot programs in individual departments (individual department driven, not corporate driven) to help coworkers better organize their worklife and homelife.

Cons

Our overall growth has slowed over the past 5 or so years, and what used to be a very driven company seems to be losing its mojo. Alignment across individual departments seems more complicated, everyone wants to drive strategy and no one wants to execute anymore making it hard to complete simple projects.

Pros

We all help each other to win unlike any other organization I've worked for. I've never seen an organization support their "coworkers" like CDW has. Management is excellent, supportive and not breathing down our neck but of course have expectations. Leadership is visible. The other day I got off the elevator and the CEO, Chris Leahy, was there which startled me to the point I didn't have words for her. Just be prepared to engage with variety of people often and you'll be successful here.

Cons

None at the moment. I could always get more pay but not real cons. If I owned a business, I'd model it after CDW in part.

Pros

Some good people still left there, but dwindling quickly. That's really it...the few decent coworkers left.

Cons

The great culture of the past is gone. Shareholder value is the only important metric now, and tenure/performance don't hold any value anymore to the EC. CDW is a shell of what it used to be for employee satisfaction across the board.
