Pros

-CDW ServiceNow Solutions (formerly Aptris) has some great people working there. -Management for Dev team encourages professional development -Team overall tries to be very supportive and do what they can to make this a good place to work -Remote work and no travel for Developers

Cons

-Cheap on Salary, PTO, Holidays (day after Thanksgiving is a work day). In my initial interview I was asked what pay I expected, and they said my range was okay. When it came time for the offer, they offered 20k less and it was non-negotiable and completely under market rate. PTO was also non-negotiable, and is so low its illegal in some civilized countries. -It's a Professional Services job no matter what way you slice it, and I was sold on minimal customer interaction, which ended up being false. -Many of my coworkers were working 60+hr weeks, not very attractive for climbing the ladder if you value your life outside of work

Pros

We all help each other to win unlike any other organization I've worked for. I've never seen an organization support their "coworkers" like CDW has. Management is excellent, supportive and not breathing down our neck but of course have expectations. Leadership is visible. The other day I got off the elevator and the CEO, Chris Leahy, was there which startled me to the point I didn't have words for her. Just be prepared to engage with variety of people often and you'll be successful here.

Cons

None at the moment. I could always get more pay but not real cons. If I owned a business, I'd model it after CDW in part.

Pros

You have the ability to sell full stack solutions, services and software.

Cons

I have worked at CDW for 10yrs and every single year they have changed the comp plan in a way that makes it harder for sellers to make money (constantly moving the goal post). Prior to 2020 CDW had little to no lay offs now it is happening every six months. They say the reasons is to reduce cost and improve efficiencies BUT as a company our sales continue to grow along with the C-levels pockets.
