Pros

CDW is good at cutting costs e.g. employee benefits. Stock price is doing great in the past 5 years.

Cons

The company do not believe in providing any perks to its employees. It contribute $1 something to dental and $0.95 for the vision. They only covers around 50% of medical health insurance. $2K contribution for 401K and will take 3 years to vest the very small amount of CDW stock they give to employees. High level executives benefit from the cost cuttings through their profit sharing.

Pros

We all help each other to win unlike any other organization I've worked for. I've never seen an organization support their "coworkers" like CDW has. Management is excellent, supportive and not breathing down our neck but of course have expectations. Leadership is visible. The other day I got off the elevator and the CEO, Chris Leahy, was there which startled me to the point I didn't have words for her. Just be prepared to engage with variety of people often and you'll be successful here.

Cons

None at the moment. I could always get more pay but not real cons. If I owned a business, I'd model it after CDW in part.

Pros

Some good people still left there, but dwindling quickly. That's really it...the few decent coworkers left.

Cons

The great culture of the past is gone. Shareholder value is the only important metric now, and tenure/performance don't hold any value anymore to the EC. CDW is a shell of what it used to be for employee satisfaction across the board.
