Pros

One of the best Inside Sales jobs you will find in the industry; Great dedicated resources in core competencies (hardware and software) and great vision for how they are moving into the professional services industry; well-respected by manufacturers we represent; management is more flexible to work-life balance as you become more tenure; CDW seems to be having a very successful year overall which means perks are coming back and morale is picking up; CDW hires people who are generally hard working and have great personalities

Cons

Building a book is difficult (often left to fend for yourself); internal systems are becoming less reliable as they are being "upgraded"; lots of recent turnover is hurting the relationship between customer/CDW; little room for growth if you have started in the Inside Sales position since CDW is looking to fill open positions with well-experienced engineers and technical sales reps (neither of which you get trained for as an Inside Sales rep); CDW is hiring more Inside Sales reps than there is business to sustain in some regions

Pros

You have the ability to sell full stack solutions, services and software.

Cons

I have worked at CDW for 10yrs and every single year they have changed the comp plan in a way that makes it harder for sellers to make money (constantly moving the goal post). Prior to 2020 CDW had little to no lay offs now it is happening every six months. They say the reasons is to reduce cost and improve efficiencies BUT as a company our sales continue to grow along with the C-levels pockets.
