Pros

The collections. Staff uniform is nice.

Cons

Toxic company culture in Australia. Head office and store management team should be ashamed how they treat their staff. Upper management take issues personally and not professionally. Store management are inexperienced, biased and equally as unprofessional. Massive favouritism across stores. Sales people with reseller “clients” are highly praised for their sales. No development - if you think that working for a global brand and there are any growth opportunities you are wrong. Your best hope is a Senior Sales or Department manager. Even moving brands is made to seem impossible by HR/ upper management. Workplace is becoming LESS diverse. Store and upper Management do not really care about employee satisfaction, happiness, inclusion and you’re expected to do everything with no recognition or reward. Sales expectations are unrealistic and you will always compared to other brands performance who are much bigger brands and that have more staff.

Pros

Seasonal uniform garments Generous employee sales LVMH Paid overtime, salary + commission.

Cons

No structure, HR position vacant every 7-8 months, met 3 different HR directors. No employee appreciation. Long hours(early morning trainings( sometimes you find out the day before) + client events. 10+ hours shifts. You are on you own, no support! You run your own business, literally get ready to do everything, from prepare a package to be send out, to check alterations status, consignments, complete all tasks in the company app. The in store events are not organized, Launching new collections or product, you will received training the same day (memorize everything). There is no career opportunities, unless you consider the perfume ambassador a level up. Training department is one person, and some interns (obviously they had no clue of the business or training experience) it’s literally talking to a 7 year old. Very high performing expectations! Mistery shopped, if you get an 80% you are cooked. They promote people base on favoritism or friendships.
