Pros

Being employed - until your project is finished and nothing else is in the pipeline and you are forced to reduce your hours and seek employment elsewhere. If you don't mind uprooting your entire life, there are opportunities all over the world to be taken advantage of.

Cons

- Too many Project Managers. Not enough projects. - You had better be 100% billable, or you're not going to last very long. - Insufficient funding for office equipment. I purchased a second monitor for my computer and brought it to work (after formally filling out a request to my operations leader, which was denied). - The environmental is very much every man/woman for themselves. You are competing with your peers for project hours in order to stay 100% billable. This kind of environment inherently breeds backstabing and alliances. Networking within the company is crucial. - Each meeting starts with a 'Safety Moment'. This is truly a waste of the client's money. Note to potential employees, if you have not done a safety moment, you will be asked to present one during the quarterly team meeting. Not a big deal, but just another example of the nightmarish 'Office Space' vibe this company exudes. Mkaaaay? I could go on and on...

Pros

Vision and mission, benefits, interesting projects, offices...

Cons

I66 Management is ridiculous. A PM who has absolutely no idea - he's not even an engineer - and a business manager who has been continuously described by the client as incompetent and useless. It weighs heavy on me to hear the client saying " is this really ch2m?"
