Pros

"growing" North American market leads you to believe there is growth in your role. Management will give personal development plans twice a year however, no compensation for added responsibilities. Conference calls once a week to cover weekly focuses with entire North American market, even though very different focuses apply, but a nice hour break during your day.

Cons

area team seems to pick favourites to promote rather than talented, deserving candidates. Many of the staff are over worked to cover staffing/ hiring needs ie. working multiple locations without a pay increase, but given a daily per diem to cover ALL costs - you end up paying out of pocket. For a "high end, design and quality" brand they seem to be far from the average pay bracket. Many competitors are paid commission or an achievable bonus structure making selling a focus. Here customer experience is held on the highest platform forgetting all employees needs - i think this in itself creates an ill mouther from inside the brand. HR is for the company, not for the employee. Many of your needs are either ignored (can't stress this enough) or met with a condescending tone. Basically reading off a script.

Flexible schedule, nice coworkers, would recommend to people new to retail because of the slower pace

Cons

Management can be passive aggressive but that’s specific managers
