      You are you own boss. You go out at the beginning of the day, and when you finish the work you can go home.

      Cons

      CSX requires a lot of you. It is a lifestyle and a career. Also in the beginning of your career you can and probably will be furloughed quite a bit

      - strong benefits and culture - decent pay

      - everything is changing quickly with upper leadership and budget cuts leaving departments strained

      Pros

      Fair minded and supportive management. Not directly involved in RR management, so did not have the same hours or demands as many do.

      Cons

      None really--large publicly held company. Working on a contract basis, so can't speak to benefits.
