Pros

They provide you with a vehicle and tools and pay for gas and you're mostly left alone.

Cons

The pay is less than half it was when I started and keeps going down even though I am working 12-15 hours a day and cranking out jobs. I went from making 900ish a week at the start, and now my most recent pay check was 309. They got rid of the website which lets you check how they are breaking down your pay or checking if they even paid you so I have no way to check my pay on any company website. Other techs are claiming they make 1200 a week, but the pay keeps going down and down and down for me and numerous commentors on this and other websites lament their pay is 10 dollars an hour or below. My pay is now averaging out to 7 dollars an hour. That is half of minimum wage in Florida! This is outrageous considering inflation is through the roof and housing and rental prices are through the roof. How can they justify running a business where guys are working 12-14 hours a day and their pay is constantly decreasing?

Pros

You'll quickly learn how to solve problems without expecting much guidance from leadership. Great environment for building resilience and adapting to constantly changing processes. Strong training in navigating ambiguity and figuring things out on your own. Opportunity to strengthen communication skills by following up multiple times for answers and decisions. You'll become highly resourceful when working with limited support and direction. Teaches accountability, as employees are often expected to find solutions regardless of the obstacles presented. Provides valuable experience in managing expectations during periods of organizational change and acquisition. Coworkers are often supportive and willing to help each other when formal support channels fall short.

Cons

Communication can be inconsistent. Decision-making processes are often unclear. Expectations may not always align with available resources and support. Frequent process changes can create confusion and inefficiencies. Leadership responsiveness may vary significantly depending on the situation. Employee concerns are not always addressed in a timely manner.
