Cons
No clear structure...staff managers are typically people who do not and have never worked with you directly on a project and therefore are not qualified to speak to your performance.
Little to no opportunities for networking internally...easy to feel disconnected from the rest of the company when working remote.
Once your project ends you will almost certainly be laid off if you work in the Government sector--regardless of how good of a score you receive on your annual performance review.
You aren't fully vested in employer 401k contributions until after 5 years (if you can avoid layoffs for that long). Cadmus matches 50% of the first 7% of deferrals.
