Pros
Compensation level, many many opportunities, multinational environment, good school for management, generally speaking professional employees and environment. Clear hierarchies, development programs for youg talents. Good culture for safety.
Cons
Definitely Too much bureaucracy. SAP does not help but often makes things more difficult. Fanatism in measuring performances and this makes your daily job even harder because there are a lot of data to be maintained in the system with the only purpose to be measured. Added value to your job:zero. Not sure continuous improvement is implemented in the right way. Sometimes not sure the "no blame" culture is always followed and for sure not equally across the departments and the plants. Sometimes corporate executives have a poor understanding of local needs of local plants. Bad life balance for managers: high and steady level of stress.
