Pros

1. Attending conferences, practicing public speaking. 2. Stepping out of your comfort zone and learning new skills (most of the time self-taught). 3. Building your network. 4. Friendly, passionate, and smart staff.

Cons

1. No job security, no insurance, not a competitive salary, no over time. 2. Toxic environment and unhealthy competition due to unsustainable business model and horrible leadership. 3. Manipulative leadership by giving false hope to the employees and make them work over 60 hours per week. 4. Micromanagement along with unfeasible workload and unrealistic expectations with no support.

Pros

Working here offers a strong sense of purpose, especially if you are passionate about transit, sustainability and transportation innovation. The work can be meaningful and high impact, with opportunities to collaborate on projects involving industry, utilities, transit agencies, academia and government stakeholders. Team members are committed to the mission and there can be exposure to unique projects and learning opportunities that are difficult to find elsewhere.

Cons

As with many organizations operating in a fast-evolving and ambitious space, priorities can shift quickly. Employees who prefer highly predictable workflows may find this challenging.
