Pros

Capchase attracts some of the most capable and driven individuals I have ever worked with. The level of talent is consistently impressive, and collaborating with these professionals can be both inspiring and enriching. Additionally, the company’s flexible remote work policy is a notable perk, allowing team members to coordinate schedules that accommodate temporary relocations.

Cons

While Capchase promotes itself as an employee-centric organisation, my experience told a different story. The overall culture gradually became toxic, where genuine concern for employees often seemed secondary to hitting ambitious targets. In many cases, people were let go with little explanation or support, creating an unsettling feeling that anyone could be replaced at a moment’s notice. A notable issue is the persistent ‘grind’ culture, especially in certain teams. The demands placed on employees frequently stretch beyond conventional working hours, making a healthy work-life balance nearly impossible. Coupled with salaries that do not always reflect the workload, the promises of future rewards or career growth can feel more like empty talking points than actual opportunities. Morale suffers under these conditions, and it was not uncommon to see colleagues openly distressed. Management turnover is alarmingly high. Senior leaders and heads of departments come and go in rapid succession—some leaving after only a few months—resulting in inconsistent direction and a lack of cohesive strategy. This constant state of flux has a palpable effect on the workforce, as each new leader introduces different expectations and methodologies. Furthermore, there appeared to be a gap between leadership’s claims of fostering a supportive environment and their actual behaviour. Founders and senior leaders seemed unprepared to handle rapid expansion, oscillating between burnout and micromanagement. The CEO, in particular, adopted a more forceful style, which gave the impression that employees were merely ‘disposable resources’ rather than valued contributors. On more than one occasion, this dynamic veered into what felt like psychological pressure. Trust in leadership eroded quickly, and I witnessed several instances where colleagues were visibly upset or in tears due to these challenges. Overall, while there are undoubtedly talented individuals working at Capchase, the prevailing atmosphere of high-pressure demands, inadequate compensation, and unstable leadership overshadowed their contributions, undermining both morale and long-term employee satisfaction.
