We are very disappointed to read your review.
We have dedicated Resourcing professionals in Capco who focus exclusively on finding suitable projects for any consultants who are ‘on the bench’ (mindful of their skills and personal development). The way we staff projects is an inclusive and interactive process, where we encourage employees to share their interests, aspirations and preferences. Everyone has visibility of all available opportunities, including skill requirements, and people are free to apply directly for those on which they want to be deployed. While we can’t always accommodate every request, we do make it a priority to try to place people in roles where they are most motivated so they can be successful. As the firm is enjoying rapid growth in advance of many of our direct competitors, it does mean that there is an ever broader range of opportunities available to our people.
We encourage all project managers and coaches to share ongoing, real-time feedback on performance, so that people have the opportunity to build their capabilities, develop new skills, and grow their careers. We also have a robust performance management process where a range of stakeholders are invited to give input into an individual’s assessment to make this process fair and remove the possibility for unfair bias. We also use a roundtable process to benchmark individuals against their peers, and ensure an objective and fair evaluation.
It is not acceptable in Capco for anyone to be impacted adversely for feedback from another individual without proper review from a number of other stakeholders. Therefore, I would encourage you to reach out to the relevant Resourcing Manager or your HR Business Partner to discuss your specific concerns. I am very confident that we will address them to your satisfaction, given development and optional deployment are so central to our people management in Capco.
