Some not so great people, looking to push you into client projects without disclosing full details and expectations which then turn out to be completely unsuitable, all to ensure they hit sales targets I expect. In 2 year period I saw a lot of growth, ending being ‘encouraged’ onto a 3 month sabbatical due to their current situation before finding a opportunity elsewhere externally (is it a coincidence it’s with one of their clients?). Also aware they are in process of offering voluntary redundancy too. Sounds like they grew too quick too soon. Client projects were uninteresting unless you were in with the right people and those opportunities were limited too. Performance split across Client and Internal work not necessarily rewarded unless smashing it in both areas. E.g. difficult clients meant year 1 client work wasn’t great but internally achieved alot but didn’t see anything from it. Year 2 projects involved better clients, again not interesting work but decent clients helped get past the boredom.
