Pros

- a good culture of learning new tech skills - allowing you to take on a bit more than your experience might typically allow, a bit of a sink or swim environment, but effective in upskilling people fast if they are up to the task. - human-centric management, people are treated well and fairly

Cons

Largest con is probably startup salaries being less than one might expect at larger organisations.

Pros

Dynamic and fun work environment, a culture of freedom and flexibility and a big focus on personal development for each employee. I learnt a lot here, about data science, client interaction and everything else that supports the job — makes for great work experience. There is also so much happening in the way of innovation and entrepreneurship, it was inspiring! I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to co-found one of the spin off ventures and go into entrepreneurship myself — a truly unique opportunity at Cape AI. I always had the feeling the founders were supportive of me and looking out for my best interests in terms of professional & personal development. If you want to work with great people in a fun environment, hone your data science skills and get hands on experience, I highly recommend it!

Cons

If you’re looking for a massive pay check, this isn’t the place. The added value of working here is in the experience.

Pros

- By far the best company culture I've experienced, focusing on employee growth and wellbeing. - Having Fridays dedicated to self-improvement and learning is a game-changer, especially coming from a corporate background. - Entrepreneurial flair is celebrated and supported. - Career growth is explicitly addressed and promoted. - Trust is placed in each member of the team and as such, much freedom is allowed. You never feel like "just another employee" - They put a lot of effort into the hiring process, ensuring a cultural and technical fit, resulting in a high-performing, fun-loving, and supportive team.

Cons

There have been some growing pains along the way (being a relatively young company), but they are addressed proactively resulting in meaningful change when called for.
