Pros
Considers the needs of people with disabilities and those who come from a background other than Computer Science. They provide great tools on the scheme such as; unlimited access to free online courses, one-to-one coaching, free exams to acquire both national and internationally recognised qualifications from professional bodies such as: BCS, ISTQB etc... In 2 months during my training in software testing I became a Certified Software Tester Foundation Level. I have learned about many different languages and in a year such as; Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, HTML, CSS and NodeJS. You can always ask for support from superiors and are happy to help with any queries or concerns that you may have and guide you to fulfill your job role and excel whilst on client site. In my time I have performed many different tasks and have helped push a key part of the project for my client.
Cons
It can at times be an intensive programme to help you perform to the best of your ability so make the most of every opportunity that comes and it will be a worthwhile process.
