Cons
The pay is not very good, they pay as little as possible. Once you are in it is very hard to get a good payrise. Favourites - only those who the management favour or are 'yes' men seem to get promoted. If you want a change of career direction within the same company forget it - you are just a 'bum' on a seat. Long hours due to presenteeism - even if you have nothing to do you are expected to stay late so that it makes your team leader look good. Bonuses are not paid - even if you have earned it - they will find a way of wriggle out of paying it - all comes down to the MD. Nepotism Totally unqualified people have been put in senior positions due to their long tenure abilities.
