Dear Reviewer, You identify yourself as a current employee holding the position of Administration Officer, with over three years of employment at our company. We would like to state this plainly: no such position exists here — nor has it ever. If the most basic detail of your review — your own job title — cannot be verified, it raises a reasonable question: how much of what follows can be trusted? We have always welcomed honest feedback. What we will not do is allow fabricated information to go unchallenged on a public platform. At Capital Dynamics, we have nothing to hide. The same, it seems, cannot be said for the person behind this review. Advice to reviewer: Hiding behind a false identity does not make the false information any more credible. If you have a genuine grievance, you know where to find us.

Pros

Close to LRT and MRT. Lots of food choices around, though mostly non-halal. Some colleagues are nice.

Cons

The biggest red flag in this company is definitely the no-phone policy. You have to lock your phone away until 5PM and you don’t even get it back during lunch, which honestly makes no sense in this day and age. Most places are cashless now and some restaurants even require QR ordering, so it just feels unnecessarily controlling. They will tell you that it's to protect confidentiality but it's obviously not. The environment is also pretty toxic. Getting yelled at is normal here. There’s very little constructive feedback. Mostly blaming, scolding, and finger-pointing whenever something goes wrong. A lot of things are still done manually too, including leave applications. Leave approvals take forever, so don’t expect to confidently plan holidays or personal trips. Benefits are bare minimum, and they’re probably one of the few corporate companies still making people work Saturdays. Barely anything gets done on Saturdays anyway, so it just feels like wasted time. Management also doesn’t really encourage work-life balance. People get judged for leaving on time as if they’re leaving early. Also, interns are asked to leave positive reviews, which explains why the ratings are at both extremes. Too obvious.

Dear reviewer, No Phone Policy & 5.5 Working Days — Why join the company when all the policies were already explained to you in full during your interview and upon commencement of employment? And this comes from a PhD graduate from one of the top Australian universities. You claim that interns are asked to leave positive reviews. If you genuinely believe this platform is manipulated, why are you using it to spread your own version of events anonymously? As we have said before: genuine feedback does not hide behind "Anonymous Employee." As for your advice to management — you have already told us you don't expect us to listen, which conveniently means you are not actually interested in improvement. You are interested in venting. Lastly, you mention that this reply will be "entertaining." We hope it is. At Capital Dynamics, we have nothing to hide — unlike anonymous reviewers. Advice to reviewer: Accountability is a two-way street. If the environment felt toxic, it is worth asking yourself what role you played in shaping it.

Pros

Employees at the KL branch are generally helpful and pleasant to work with.

Cons

In contrast, the working environment at the HK branch was disastrous, particularly with the female staff at old age and/or high pays. The behaviors normally seen at the office include yelling and intimidating new or junior staff, delegating tasks without accountability when issues arise, claiming a lack of hierarchy to avoid responsibility but still ordering juniors to do their tasks, bullying colleagues by vowing they have superior experience, and deliberately misdirecting employees. BUT, positive demeanor will only be shown when boss and/or his secretary are present at office, which is very very seldom. BTW, be prepared to return to HK office and work during a level-10 or above typhoon, if joining the company. And, the final payment will normally take over a month to receive, the condition is that you have to chase them continuously!!
